| LIE #12 |
CREATIONIST: "If mammals evolved from mammal-like reptiles, supposedly replacing them by natural selection, how could mammal-like reptiles survive another 100 million years side by side with mammals?" - Richard Milton, 1997
FACT: This is a question that implies a lie by distortion of the most absurd kind. The answer is simple. As long as there are appropriate niches available for more "primitive" animals or plants, they can survive indefinitely side by side with the more "advanced" forms. While there are still worm holes remaining, worms will still exist in spite of the fact that elephants and worms have evolved from the same ancestoral group, and live side by side today. How can this be? To put it simply, elephants cannot live in worm holes!
